Live performance photography is honestly one of my favorite niches and I had the fantastic opportunity in 2019 to photograph shows during the Pittsburgh Fringe, this amazing performer. This is Valhayla, she was performing as a part of Ignite Variety Entertainment during the 2019 Fringe, a show that was a mix of burlesque, circus and a decent amount of fire.


Valhayla is one of the burlesque performers and photos of her from the shoot were some of my favorites from the entire Fringe that year in terms a coheisve set of images. I mean look at them! The intensity of eye contact with the audience, and the skill of it all.
