Promoting your film just got easier.

Good filmmakers know that marketing is just as important to a film's success as a good script. But how do you that without spoiling the film?

Behind-the-scenes filming in a kitchen shows a camera operator recording someone holding food items near wooden cabinets.

No more relying on screen grabs to market your movie.

Great producers know that shooting the film is only half the battle. Marketing is the other half and relying on screen grabs after filming doesn't cut it anymore.

What you need is a robust library of images that show the cinematic moments and the behind the scenes glimpses that will grab people's attention.

That what why need a dedicated unit stills photographer on set.

Unit stills help sell your movie.

A unit stills photographer can become on of the most important roles on set when it comes to making money from your movie.

The photos I take help you market your film to audiences, film festivals, distribution companies and key stakeholders, even while you're still in the middle of the edit.

Films still and behind the scenes images:

• capture the emotional tone of your film

• show the world your cast as the icons they are

• help you pitch, promote, submit, and fund your work

• make your film look like a Big Deal (even if it’s an indie set)

• bring your story to life long before an audience presses play

What can Unit Stills be used for?

The photos I capture on set can be used for:

  • Posters
  • Fundraising pitch decks
  • Social-ready content for your cast + team
  • Character portraits + on-set promotional images
  • Press releases
  • Media kits to send to festivals

What People Have to Say About Working With Me

Moody black and white photograph showing figure sitting by ornate iron gates.

Lauryn always does a great job of capturing the scenes behind the scenes. They're ninja-like in that you rarely know they're there, but at the end of the day, they're created a beautiful portfolio of images that perfectly document the actors, the action, and the essence of the film. And they're just a joy to work with. Highly recommended.

When I first met Lauryn on the set of one of my projects I was immediately blown away by their hard work and professionalism. It is impossible to find someone more dedicated and committed to providing the best work possible. They have such a keen eye for making beautiful shots and are always the first person I call when I need a photographer.

Lauryn was recommend to me as I said photographer during pre-production of my Star Wars fan film "The Fallen Apprentice", and they didn't disappoint! The photos that took were absolutely exemplary and I was pretty amazed by the quality, some were even used for our posters and such!

Have some questions?

We’re a weird crew - is that okay?

Isn't that a requirement to be in film? Don't worry, I’m a weirdo too so I'll fit right in.

What if it's an indie film with a limited budget?

Still get in touch. Depending on the project we might be able to work something out.  It's better to have a unit stills photographer for part of a shoot than to not have on at all.

Are you a part of IATSE 600?

Not yet, but it's something I'm working towards.
